I am new to the Stinger community (coming off of a tuned GTI) and am riding in a 2021 GT2 AWD with JB4 Map 3, JA Airscoops and AEM drop-ins. Really liking the car...very different then the GTI.

This car stock is listed at a 0-60 time of around 4.7 seconds (at least that is what I remember reading). I have been doing runs (just public roads) and can barely crack 5 seconds (using my Dragy to measure times)...so I am doing something wrong here. But how hard is it....put it in sport, turn off traction control (have also tried with TC on), floor it (since AWD no wheel spin). I have even tried launch control (hate it). I feel like the turbo does not really kick in until about 7-10MPH and am guessing that is where I am losing time (60 foot times around 2.1-2.3 seconds which feels slow). If I look at the 0-60 (1 foot)...I am coming in at 4.4-4.7.

So....what am I missing here? Am I missing a setting? Need to adjust something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I am not in e85 or WMI....BMS asked me to try Map 3, I sent them logs...they said all looked ok. Could running on map 3 be an issue in these times?

Published acceleration times by automotive journals are weather corrected. Are you're running in good DA?
(Density Altitude = elevation + outside air temp + humidity + barometric pressure)

Are you carrying extra weight in your hatch? (every 100 lbs = ~1/10 second).
Are you getting the "Launch Control" message?
Are you running on level ground?

Thank you for the questions....no extra weight, I did get the launch control message. Here is one run.
I am going to try some runs on Map 2 today to see what that looks like.

Your losing over a second from 50 to 60MPH, It should be around a half a second or less...

Do you like your flash better then JB4?

Making progress...while it is raining here today...put the Map on 2...did some work with LC and ebrake boost....under 4.9 each time.

Oh hell yes, so with the JB4 the car had 421whp & with the tune it's 464whp. The day I had my dyno runs it was 95 degrees outside, so my tune was done on 91oct & NO WMI or E85.

Wow! Guessing your 0-60 easily in the 3s...and 1/4 mile in the 11s. Which tune did you go with? I have been looking at them. Was considering a tune and a second ECU when I made dealer visits.

I have the Dynocomp tune they are local for me, time are somewhere around 11.8 to 11.5 but all depends on traction. I know John with Tork Motorsports has been making big strides on his tune...

2,376 ft DA is pretty lousy air. 1,435 ft DA run is much better.

But the closer you get to Sea Level numbers (0 ft DA), the better.

I am with you there. I need to get some more runs done tomorrow when the streets are dry...see if that makes any difference.
