    3.3 Stinger power development

I like the staggert setup. The stock tips conform with the bumper body line well. Make them black, now that's winning!

OEM Kia Stinger Alloy wheels are expensive

Dude I hear you. (knocking on maple) I've only rubbed one rim in my life, others wore thicker tires thank god so only a bit of the tires were rough. It's the worst and I cringe

OEM Kia Stinger Alloy wheels are expensive

Better get some thicker rubber to save curb rash from happening. Or don't go through drive-thrus.. or drive it.. Ugh, when will my addiction falter [paranoid]

I would suggest Peaky Blinders for those who are Netflix users. Best series on Netflix, although I do like Stranger Things

    Volkswagen Arteon - Stinger Contender?

I'm curious on both of their resale values. I believe the GT and up models with hold their value pretty well, different story for the 2.0. The GS is a good package and you can get one for a decent price. (2013 GS here in RC w/33k miles for $18K) It's a bit small for me also since it'll be a...

    Volkswagen Arteon - Stinger Contender?

+1 on that as I have never owned a VW product. However, most of the 2018 and beyond cars are covered by a 6yr/72k bumper to bumper. That will entice a lot of folks. I don't keep cars long so anything past that isn't a concern.

    Volkswagen Arteon - Stinger Contender?

That is correct (Chris Farley voice in Billy Madison)

    Volkswagen Arteon - Stinger Contender?

I read this post back in June when it came out. Popped up on recently viewed pages and I'm sure glad it did. The car is quite stunning with body lines that are quite intoxicating. See below for full review. The car will be a 2019 model so should hit showrooms late 2018...

    Kia Stinger Tire Options

Sounds like we'll have the same issue. I'm guessing you won't have a problem with that because of the smiles it will put on our faces

    Kia Stinger Tire Options

In the performance world, $1k is normal, if not cheap. I replaced 4 Nitto Invo's on my C6 which were 265/35/ZR19 and 305/30/ZR20. I won't even say the price but what a nightmare. Consider us lucky for indulging ourselves into a Kia that has buyer's wallets considered.

Maximum towing capacity for Kia Stinger?

If I see a Stinger towing anything, I will politely give him/her a confused look. A bike rack is acceptable. But a trailer? [facepalm]

Who plans on adding paint protection film on their Kia Stinger?

I'll go with the front bumper, half hood, side mirrors, and the lower rear doors just in case the fender flares are excessive

Drag race: Stinger vs. G70 vs. Q50 hybrid

G70 looks like it'll be a hit. They have to advertise it like the Stinger though if they want any success in the States. People are too loyal to BMW and Mercedes over here. Something has to give..

KEENDESIGN mono block forged 20" wheels for the Kia Stinger

Looks good. I like the stock 19's that are on certain spec GT's. They aren't outlandish and fit the profile of the Stinger well.

    LAP3 USA Kia Stinger Tuning

That's a shame how detuned this car is for daily driving. In another post, I mentioned how the Santa Fe V6 trim level produces 290hp without the twins. Looks like these two are providing an extra 75 hp in the Stinger, G70, G80, etc. Weak links, like stinger1168 mentioned, are probably the...

When will you perform the first oil change?

Depends on what factory oil they decide to go with. I know the my Mazda dealership uses Quaker State... no bueno. However, it's my daily and it's a full synthetic so I'm a bit more leniant with it. If it's Amsoil, Mobil, or Valvoline, I'll stick with it.

    Let's play Name the Prototype

Good thing you pointed that out. The current gen Optima looks pretty good imo. Set it down about two inches and give it some wheel options, mighty fine mid-size sedan.

Kia Stinger will have standard Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC)

My Sonata had a system like that. No idea what Hyundai calls it though. Very miniscule innovation but very helpful
