I'm don't really want an aftermarket exhaust, but if I did, this dedicated KIA Stinger site is certainly the place to look for one.

I noticed that in tests for the Stinger GT AWD, I matched MotorWeek's 13.1 sec quarter, beat C&D's 13.2 sec time, and walloped MT's abysmal 13.6 sec time. I'm game if the last two are in need of a driver. :cool:

Seriously, only a 3.6% loss to the wheels should raise some eyebrows. Should be more like 310-315 whp for a RWD, not 352 hp.

This was Test & Tune, I was literally surrounded by radically modified race cars including an 850 hp 1970 Chevy Nova. As for me, I spent decades at Test & Tunes running mildly modded Fox body 5.0's. I bracket raced a few times (boring), and won my class once (pic below).

I know this is an older post, but after recently experiencing the Stinger GT brake shudder issue, I found that the bedding procedure reduced the issue considerably. And because of traffic I was only able to do the procedure 4-5 times, so I'm guessing had I been able to do a few more the problem...

Don't forget what the effect of bad DA does to a car's acceleration, and stay safe.

2,376 ft DA is pretty lousy air. 1,435 ft DA run is much better. But the closer you get to Sea Level numbers (0 ft DA), the better.

Published acceleration times by automotive journals are weather corrected. Are you're running in good DA? (Density Altitude = elevation + outside air temp + humidity + barometric pressure) Are you carrying extra weight in your hatch? (every 100 lbs = ~1/10 second). Are you getting the "Launch...

Check YuckTube, there's several knocking on the door of 10's. The other Stinger's currently running mid/high 11's with the required list of multiple add on's isn't bad either.

OK, I checked it out further. The kickdown mechanism is still there and functioning, but the "click" is definitely not as pronounced as when new. I used my hand to depress the accelerator pedal and could feel some resistance at the kickdown point (you can do this even when the car is off), but...
