How bad is the drone?
Is it only cruzing at the 2k rpm?

It is a bit disappointing that it has drone especially at that $$ even though it has evc.

From his explanation, the drone is only present when the valves are fully open, which would make sense as the majority of the exhaust without an EVC are reporting some drone at the same RPM range. That is why the EVC is the best option as you can mitigate the issue by closing the valve.
DSpec1 Thanks a lot for posting the video, it sounds GREAT!!! Sounds almost like the Bastuk, which is good. Now we some flybys and in cabin sound videos with open and closed valve, to see the difference.
Congrats man.

Hi folks. Thanks Rob -- you are right. I didn't install the EVC computer that controls the valves yet. I will work on that over the next two days. It's important to note that the system isn't really meant to go full valves open all the time -- which is how it is until I get the electronics sorted.

My plan is to do a few really good videos inside the cabin, going through a local tunnel, fly by etc. It will be much better quality than the late night one I quickly took last night. Gotta say, if it wasn't for the drone in low RPMS, I would drive with full valves all the time!!! The pops and crackles and turbo sounds are really something. However, a big part of why I bought this unit is the customizable sound through the APP and remote.

Sorry about taking so long, my wife sprained her ankle last night and was at the local health centre until 5 am -- a bit sleepy. By the way, notice the whole family loving it!!! even my 8 year old daughter and her new "Ferrari car"!

I'll start a new thread when I have additional pics and videos. Any questions, I am happy to answer.

No instructions included with the Valvetronic so I am still waiting for something fromTubi. Pissed off. The exhaust itself is unbelievable in sound, quality, and appearance, but I paid for the full system and it should really have come with instructions to ensure that I do the electronics properly.

Do you have photos of the ExCU module and harness maybe we can help you figure it out.[thumb]

Also any other videos of the exhaust in action? driving around, etc?

Don?t have videos, was going to wait for the valves. Will do more when the car is together again. Pics here...all I need to know is where to tap into power (red wire), I could do a custom install if I knew this?the rest is self explanatory.

Looks like Tubi had specific locations for the loom to go considering the dire rent lengths. Any thoughts are welcome!!!

Not really. Wiring for the module can be done without removing the rear bumper.

DSpec1 All that you need in order for the Excu to connect will be a power and a ground. You should be able to get those directly from the battery mounted on the rear. Which will also make running the cables a breeze.

Another option will be finding a 12v that become live with ignition. Meaning that it will power up the ExCU whenever you turn the car on. This method will require you using a volt meter and finding which wire becomes live whenever the ignition is on. You can also find this wire in the trunk by the battery location.

Connection for power will be easy as you mentioned tap into a wire.
But how will the modes work.
How will it know to open on hard excellaration
Or the 4 mode on release of gas pedal.
It would need to have some sort of connection to the computer?
Assuming so

this set up does not seem to work that way. The different setting are controlled by the ExCU which is then controlled by the key fob that comes included with the system.
It does not work like the bimodal exhaust from Australia.

There are 4 modes
Open
Close
Open on hard acceleration
Open on release of throttle

How will it know if not connected to computer?
Unless it just looks at yhe flow of air through the exhaust?
