I don't think I was being combative. I was just saying all Stingers are rated at 365 hp at crank.. and there's been lots of people that have had stock dyno's done and most are around the 320 hp at wheels so for him to say 351.9 at wheels is a little absurd, he also stated his friend had a dyno as well and he had a race exhaust.. so maybe its his dyno..
Since you've been schooled on how to read forum posts chronologically, I'll leave that alone...
But, I will help you understand what a dynamometer is: a measuring tool. 1 inch is 25.4 mm. So, If I posted that a male organ was 101.4mm, that might sound impressive. Until you realize that's only 4 inches. The same is true with a dyno. One brand reads a certain way while others report on a slightly different scale. Then there is all kinds of tricks you can do to maximize a dyno run.
At the end of the day, it's HIS dyno pull. If he uses that number as his baseline, then goes back for additional pulls after adding parts, he can see the increase (if there are any). That is specific to HIS vehicle. Can it be used as a general idea for the vehicle? Sorta... again, reference the comparison of dyno makes.
