The updated version of Genesis's flagship sedan will finally make its arrival in the U.S. later this month at the Los Angeles auto show. A Genesis spokesperson confirmed to C/D that the 2020 Genesis G90 will finally be revealed in U.S.-spec form in a few weeks. The facelifted model was initially revealed in Korea last year but the company had been mum on U.S.-specific details until now.
Based on 2020 G90 info for the Canada market, the car won't receive updated powertrains and should continue to use a 365-hp twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 and a 420-hp naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 as its two engine choices. Both rear- and all-wheel drive will likely continue to be offered for U.S. buyers, as will the standard eight-speed automatic transmission.
