"Square" wheel/tire setup on a GT?

Wondering if anyone has replaced their staggered wheel/tire setup with a "square" one on their GT Stinger and if that had any positive (or negative) effects on handling. On my Camaro I'm typically running the staggered stock 20x8 front and 20x9 rear, but during the winters would run a square 20x8 all the way around for better winter traction. I have also seen Camaro owners run a square 19x9.5 on all 4 corners for better performance when auto-x racing.

Obviously the stock setup is better aligned with the original "look and flow" with the lines of the car, but was curious how other sizes look and perform.

*Edit- It occurs to me you probably saw this.*

No mention of changes in driving dynamics. I like square setups, but then I also want the smallest wheels that will clear the brakes, so my opinion may be invalid.
