Ultimate Performance is really excited to present their newest edition front mount intercooler for the Kia Stinger 3.3T
Equipped with the Garrett Turbo Intercooler Core this FMIC will lower intake charge temps by 70 degrees and reduce your quarter mile times by up to 7 tenths
You'll also notice added throttle response across the whole power band

Specifications:
24" X 8" X 3.5" core
100% handmade in the USA
6061 Aircraft aluminum end tanks
2.5" inlet/ 3" outlet
Fits in the factory location with no cutting required
Works with stock hoses and clamps (3" to 2.5" adapter coupling supplied if using stock IC pipes)
100% tig welded

I am ordering this today, here is a pic from ultimate performance, with notes on the Dyno results. The extra wtq and whp on the low end are incredible! Here is the photo

I do have a question for forum members, is there anything I should be aware of with upgraded intercooler? Any down sides? Dave to engine? Gonna pair it with gfb T9212 hybrid bovs. What other suggestions/thoughts do you guys have?

There are no downsides to upgrading with this intercooler. Professional installation is recommended, just let us know if you have any questions.

I will, just FYI, I built a website for a auto shop dude and they are doing all my installs for free, I traded with them. Except the gfb valve I screwed up lol! But they let me hang out so will get pics as I can

Few delays but intercooler is scheduled to go in tomorrow afternoon, will see if I can document the install.

Installed by a professional with a lift
Install time 2hrs 20mins, for all (disassemble, install, reassemble)

I only have injen intakes installed, no exhaust yet. I can tell a difference in the lower range for sure, specially the tork!
I took a lot of photos so I can detail the install and will put it together in next few days in a new install thread.
I am super happy with the upgrade!

I have to give a shout out to David and the K8 store, I peppered him with questions around this purchase and many others and he responded quickly ever time. If you have not go check out their site, read some reviews, a great place to do business!

So far yes, mid pipes go on Friday. Don't know much about timing so no clue when I need one or what it would do lol

It looks great. I would think once you decide on exhaust it would be a good time to take it to the shop to tune. Don't want that engine light turning on from running too lean or rich, plus you could utilize more of that hp. Don't forget to change out the spark plugs though if you do go to a shop to tune or decide to piggy-back it. Some other guys might have better insight into this but I like to be safe than sorry with a 40k car.
