My favorite one is the cheapest one available at the time I need to replace them. Any winter tire is better in the wintry conditions than all-season and dedicated summer tires. I avoid the dual-compound type such as Blizzak because I want the meager money to buy them to stretch as far as possible. Yes, I go very very cheap on this category; I get wholesale pricing plus all the rebates and zero-percent financing.
