Will the Stinger benefit from an Upper Strut Bar?

Anyone think the Stinger would benefit from having an extra strut tower brace in addition to the support brace?

Additional bracing is never a bad thing, as long as its done in the right places. Front and rear will benefit greatly.

Further away strut towers are from firewall, bigger the benefit of strut bar. But it doesn't hurt in any case.

The existing "braces" are more like rad supports.
I don't think the existing "braces" do much in terms of supporting or bracing the strut towers.

Linking the strut towers together, or bracing the strut towers to the firewall should stiffen it up.

These strut braces under the rubber trim are probably adequate... But more bracing is usually better
