Would you ever consider purchasing a Chinese made car?

Had a discussion with a co-worker who swore he would never purchase a Chinese made car and offered no substantial reason. Seeing that GAC Motor plans to start selling cars in the US this year would you ever purchase one?

Maybe in a few years when they've been proven themselves like Korean made cars.
